#teachproblems, welcome to teaching

Welcome to teaching!  Where the salaries are low and everything is your fault!  It’s a good thing there are people that care about kids and contributing to society because otherwise nobody would take this job.

#teacherproblems , Dwight, please explain this to parents
Mechanical pencils are writing utensils?  False.  They are plastic chisels designed to chip away at a teacher’s sanity.  Students pretend to stick the lead into their arms, run out of lead, snap the lead off every three seconds, get really upset when their special pencil is lost, on and on…mechanical pencils can quickly become the bane of any teacher’s existence.

#teacherlife , keep talking, I'm taking away recess minutes

Keep talking, I’m taking away recess minutes.  As a teacher you have to figure out what you do and don’t have power over…access to recess, that’s the ticket!

  1. I love the poster of the raccoon saying: keep talking I’m taking away recess minutes. Where can I find it? I want to put it up in my room.

    • Thanks, Molly! I’ve never tried making any of my memes poster size. If you click on the picture it will take to you the largest version that I have. You can right click>copy, then open PowerPoint and right click>paste. Then you can print it. They aren’t big enough to fill the whole slide. You can stretch the picture to make them a little bigger although they lose a little bit of print quality.

      • Thank you for the info! I printed it off last night and it did wonderfully. I can’t wait to put it up in my room to remind my students. I have a very talkative group.
