Use this free song and video to teach students about nouns, great for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade!

Kids love music and it’s so helpful for memorization! I’ve written before about using music for learning parts of speech here and here.

I’ve had a few people say that they wish they could hear the songs instead of just seeing them on a chart. I’ve been getting my feet wet with video lately and decided to make a video of my noun song. Give it a try with your kids! The next time somebody says, “What’s a noun?” just start singing the first few words of the song and I bet they will be able to fill in the rest!

Help your students remember and understand parts of speech with a free set of webs that they can fill in as you learn each one! Click the picture below to get your copy:

  1. Good morning, I am an English teacher at my school and I was wondering if I could use your videos in my classes.
    Thank you
